Return Policy

At Sozzled, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase. However, we understand that there may be circumstances in which you need to return a product. In these cases, we’re here to help.

If you find that your item is leaking or damaged at the time of delivery, you can return it immediately. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in a damaged or leaking condition. Please note that the item will not be considered for return if it is in an undamaged or non-leaking condition.

Please note that once the delivery partner leaves and completes the delivery, the Return policy will not be applicable. Therefore, we strongly advise you to thoroughly check the items before accepting the order.

Refund Policy

At Sozzled, we prioritize customer satisfaction and understand that there may be instances where you may want to return an item or where your order may be cancelled. In these cases, we offer a comprehensive refund policy.

Eligibility for Refund

A refund is applicable under the following conditions:

1. Item Returned: If an item is returned as per the Sozzled Return Policy, you are eligible for a refund. The item must be returned immediately at the time of delivery if it is in a damaged or leaking condition. Please note that the item will not be considered for return if it is in an undamaged or non-leaking condition.
2. Order Cancellation: If the order has been cancelled by the Vendor or Sozzled due to any unforeseen circumstances or operational inefficiencies, you will receive a refund.
3. Unavoidable Situations: If there is any unavoidable situation faced by the vendor or the delivery partner that prevents the completion of the delivery, a refund will be processed. This includes situations such as natural disasters, civil disturbances, or any other exceptional circumstances that prevent the safe and timely delivery of the order.

Refund Process

Upon confirmation of the eligibility for refund, the refund will be processed automatically in the original payment mode within the stipulated time. The processing time for the refund will depend on your card issuer’s policies. You will receive a notification once the refund has been processed.

Exceptions

Please note that due to the nature of the products we deal with, there are certain exceptions to our return and refund policy. As we deal with alcoholic beverages, we are governed by specific regulations and laws pertaining to the sale and return of alcohol.

  • Perishable Goods: Alcoholic beverages are considered perishable goods and are therefore not eligible for return or refund once they have been delivered and accepted.
  • Legal Restrictions: Due to legal restrictions, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is flawed or the quality of the delivered product is unsatisfactory.
  • Sealed Products: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages that have been unsealed after delivery.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased on sale or during a promotional event are not eligible for return or refund.

Please ensure to check the items thoroughly at the time of delivery. Any exceptions to the refund policy will be clearly communicated at the point of purchase.

Cancellation Policy

At Sozzled, we understand that there may be instances where you need to cancel an order. We have therefore implemented a comprehensive cancellation policy to cater to your needs.

Cancellation via Application

Customers are allowed to cancel their orders directly from the application within the one minute of placing the order. To cancel an order, navigate to your order history, select the order you wish to cancel, and click on the ‘Cancel Order’ button. Please note that cancellations will not be accepted after the 1-minute window has passed and the Cancel Order option will not be available thereafter.

Cancellation via Email

In cases where the Cancel Order option is unavailable (mostly because one minute window has passed or any other reasons), customers can also cancel their orders via email within the first 3 minutes of placing the order. To cancel an order via email, send an email from your registered email address to ordercancel@sozzled.in. The subject of the email should contain the order number. Please note that cancellations will not be accepted after the 3-minute window has passed or if the order number is not provided correctly on the email.

Cancellation Confirmation

Upon successful cancellation, a confirmation will be sent to your registered email address or other channels of communications including but not limited the application, notification, text or call if deemed necessary. The refund, if applicable, will be processed as per our Refund Policy.

Shipping Policy

At Sozzled, we understand that timely delivery is crucial to our customers. Therefore, we have implemented a comprehensive shipping policy to ensure that your orders reach you in a timely and efficient manner.

Delivery Timeframe

We strive to deliver all orders on the same day. Our standard delivery timeframe is between 60 to 90 minutes from the time the order is placed. We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis and will do our best to fulfill all orders within this timeframe.

Delivery Delays

While we strive to adhere to our delivery timeframe, there may be circumstances beyond our control that cause delays. These include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions such as heavy rains, public gatherings, Indian festivals, or any other unforeseen disruptions. In such cases, we will keep you informed and work to get your order to you as soon as possible.

Delivery Confirmation

Upon successful delivery, a confirmation will be sent to your registered email address. Please ensure to check your items thoroughly at the time of delivery as per our Return Policy.

Sozzled is committed to conducting business ethically and in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes data privacy and collection requirements, cookie requirements, data security requirements, accessibility requirements, and ecommerce security.

For our mobile applications available on Google Play Store and Apple Store, we adhere to their respective guidelines and policies. This includes using their built-in In-App Purchase system, prohibiting the use of third-party payment providers or self-built solutions, and ensuring that all digital goods and services are available through the built-in IAP system.
